Kyle really was not sure what to do with the presents. He had quite a pile but every time he opened a gift he had to play with it right away so it took a while to get them all opened.
I have decided that buying toys for boys is way easier and more fun than buying for girls. Pretty much anything with wheels is sure to be a winner.
Who knew that watching cars race in a circle could bring HOURS of entertainment.
Flashing lights and noise are also go over really well.
Another track=even more hours of entertainment!
This year Kyle asked for a yellow cake which I was happy to provide. I don't do cake decorations and I was afraid he was going to ask for a Lightening McQueen cake. Dyeing frosting is more up my alley.
Such focus and determination. I think it took about three tries!
LOVED the ice cream...did not touch the cake.
Kyle is doing REALLY well. To look at him now you would never know what a rough start he had. He knows all the letters and their sounds, can count to 20 and is finally getting his colors straight. He continues to get stronger every day and for the most part keeps up just fine with his friends at the park. He is off all of his meds except for his inhaler. He loves the movie CARS and could line up his cars for hours on end. He is still the pickiest eater EVER!!! but he did attempt spaghetti for the first time last week and liked it. He likes to play with his sister and build towers with Legos. He is working on learning to ride a tricycle and loves anything outside. We love this little man and we are so grateful to have him in our home and to be part of the miracle that his life is!
