Emma got to play with one of her good friends Sasha. Emma said that her favorite thing about basketball this year was getting to play against other kids that she knew from school. 
After the game we went to out for some ice cream to celebrate. I am pretty sure that was everyones favorite part of the night. The girls were good about sharing with Kyle...really who could resist that face!
Kyle loves being outside! I was not sure how he would handle the uneven terrain of dirt, grass and concrete but he is figuring it out. He falls a lot but he pops right back up and keeps going. Trevor is in Haiti with a group from school providing dental care for several small villages. We miss him tons but the nice weather has made the separation may more bearable. 
I would do this all day every day if I could. Sunshine and great company...what could be better.
The kids have LOVED being able to run around again. We are back to baths every night but it is so worth it! The first day outside Emma broke out her shorts. Her legs got covered in dirt and her shoes were wet from tromping around in the melting snow mounds but she was in heaven.
What a great bunch of kids! February could not get over fast enough and now March is flying by. At least we get to spend our last few months with these cute faces.
This picture gives a good idea of just who Kyle is. He did this the other night while I was talking to my Mom on the phone. He is always so pleased with his handy work. 
He is one happy little guy. He will let you know if he needs something but most of the time he just goes with the flow. The time that we have the most trouble is in his high chair. He is a horrible eater! He has about five foods that he will eat. He eats yogurt and a cereal bar every morning but the rest of the day is hit or miss. He will not eat pasta, eggs, chicken, ground beef, veggies, strawberries, apples, rice, the list could go on and on. He does like milk and he can sniff out sugar from a mile away. 
Kyle loves all things electronic. He knows where the vacuum lives and as soon as the door opens he is right there ready to explore the cool thing that makes lots of noise and lights up. He loves the blender, the mixer, my hair dryer and my cell phone. He even hold the Wii remote and pretends to play.
Since Kyle had tubes put in his ears we have seen a good improvement in his verbal skills. Some of the words he can say are...eee(eat), bii(bite), ma ma(milk), nana(banana), wa(water), erios(Cherios), ba(ball), boon(balloon), baf(bath), no, bu(book), and dada. He has a very high pitched squealy little voice and it is so fun to be able to communicate with him. He loves to give hugs and when you ask for a kiss he leans his head forward so you can kiss him on the forehead. He loves to be rocked and sung to which I LOVE since the girls never liked to snuggle. He also loves to be read to. His favorites are Goodnight Moon and I Love You Through and Through. Reading to him is pretty much the only way I can keep him still. Kyle is walking better every day and today I saw his version of dancing for the first time. It was so cute! Hopefully he will have more rhythm than his Mom.
