Random Happenings

Here are a few pictures of some of the things we have been up to... Reading lots of books and enjoying good cuddle time. We are still experiencing June gloom but we did get a good beach day last weekend. This boy loves the sand...I think that those long eye lashes must help keep the sand out of his eyes.

The girls slept in sponge rollers and had curly hair for Fathers day.

My builder hard at work. The girls also found lots of sand crabs but we did not get any pictures.

We saw Toy Story 3 in 3D. The movie was great!

Dressing up with tissue paper.

Emma wanted to be a pioneer kid with a sun bonnet.

Kyle loves the rock band drums almost as much as he loves the piano.

Being silly with Aunt Shayla.

Celebrating Grandpa's birthday!

Hanging out with Grandpa...what this picture does not show is that Abby is begging for a turn on Grandpa's iPhone. Today he added a Phineas and Ferb app for the girls but if the truth must be told I think he likes it just as much as they do.

We have done a lot of just hanging out and it has been nice to be able to spend time with family. We move into our new house on Thursday and we are glad that it is only an hour away instead of across the country. =)

Piano Man

This is one of Kyles favorite things to do at Grandma and Grandpas house.

Fathers Day Gift

The kids made great Fathers Day gifts for Trevor and Grandpa in Primary. They made ties that came with this cute card that said...
Happy Fathers Day!
We love you so;
We wanted everyone to know
So we designed this nifty tie,
Cause we think you're a
special guy.
Wear it with pride, don't be afraid.
(Wait till you see what the other kids made.)
And anyone who stops to stare
Will only see how much I care!
(Please wear this "new" tie on Fathers Day - You won't be alone)

Happy dad with his very cute kids.
The Dad's wore their ties after a little trouble getting them tied (there was a lot of glitter!!!) but once they were on they wore them well.
Close up of Trevors tie. I especially love the googly eyes.
The girls also sang two song in Sacrament meeting "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home" and "My Daddy is My Favorite Pal." You could hear both girls loud and clear. We had a nice day and I am very lucky to have such wonderful Dads in my life.
