Last week I got to go with Abby and her class to the local pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun but it sure did make me miss good old Freddy Hills farm.

On the tractor ride around the pumpkin patch. They had all kinds of pumpkins that I had never seen before. There were white ones, red ones, green ones, ones that looked like they had popcorn all over them and the standard orange ones. The kids did not get to go out into the field to pick their own (which as probably a good thing with about 110 kids total) but it was really fun to look at all the different kinds of pumpkins.

After the tractor ride the kids got to go feed the goats at the petting zoo. It was CRAZY! I felt sorry for this worker who was swarmed by kids and goats trying to get some food. Abby was
persist ant and ended up with several handfuls of goat food.

After the petting zoo they picked out their mini pumpkins from a large wagon and then took a class picture on the giant hay castle. It was a fun day!
