One Month

In some ways it is hard to believe that it has been a month and in other ways it has been the longest month ever. The good news is that I am feeling so much better and am even getting antsy to start exercising again (I am sure I can find time somehow...I hope!) The hard part has been that Zac has struggled to gain weight. For some reason this picture makes him look huge and I love it, but trust me he is only a couple ounces bigger than he was when he was born.

He really is a sweet little guy. He has some upcoming tests that will hopefully help us know how we can help him eat better and feel more comfortable so we can see more pictures...

like this. Zac is a good baby but he does not have very much quiet alert time. He seems uncomfortable a lot of the time and the OT we saw last week thinks that he has a swallowing problem or possibly reflux.

This face sums up how he feels about his feedings.

We love our little Zac and are looking forward to watching him grow and getting to know his personality better.

So cute!! I can't believe it's already been a month-- but like you said, I'm sure you can.:) Fingers crossed they're able to figure out his feeding issues. Jeremy and Kylene's little Sophie has had a really hard time gaining weight too and they finally figured out it's reflux. Yucky stuff!

Oh Tamar, he is just darling. I can't wait to meet him! I so hope you can get the eating issues resolved quickly. Abby looks so grown up in that pictures holding him. I'm sure they are all such good help!

He's So cute Tamar, sure wish I could pass some of Jared's weight his way! (But I can't help you much with the quiet alert time...we don't get much of that)

What a cutie! Sorry to hear about all the crazy stuff you had to deal with after his birth! It's hard enough just to have a new baby and then to add all the extra stuff you've had to cope with would be tough! It's a good thing they're worth it and he definitely is! Congrats, he's a keeper :)

I'm sorry he is having eating issues, that has got to be SO stressful for you. Good luck getting it sorted out. He is precious, Tamar, can't wait to see both of you!
